Soul mates are real... at least I truly believe so. The mystery is: are we inclined to look for them? Some of us get the lucky pick from the hat, and have no problem finding our partner, some die trying , and many of us--settle. We settle for that person who is okay for now, but maybe in the long run will always just be "okay". We lose sight of the future, the thirst to life , to take on life's journey. Personally, I can't just settle for someone who isn't the one. To me, it is all a waste of time. I'd rather not have my or anyone else's time wasted when I KNOW they aren't the one I am supposed to be with in the long run. 

I am at the bottom of the ocean

And I forgot how to swim

The sun flecks shower above me

And I continue to hold my breath

Strange fishes brush my feet

Sea flowers caress my hair

Its a universe full of wonder

Entering an abyss so rare.

hahaahahahaha old times!

There comes a time 

Where we say goodbye,

And the sky slowly turns lilac,

The night sipped like cognac,

Our pupils rapidly dilate ,

Increasing each others heart rate.

We decide to lay down our brains,

And our souls drip through our veins,

Across the field of black,

Consciousness we lack.

We stumble along the tides,

Of color born from our minds,

Then love we begin to weep

To again fall fast asleep.

I want to run away with you,

Whoever you are.

Watch the rivers pour like wine,

See the fog intertwine,

In between the deep trees,

A dark abyss of seas,

Having you just stand next to me.

And we will change our middle names,

Lie in fields tame,

Experiencing what they can't attain,

Until we are weathered gray.
